After I've confirmed that works with the dwarves I will start experimenting with QS for weapon and armor storage. I will build entire floors for storage of weapons and armor later. Setting goods to be recieved on the minecart itself is important to get rightĪll items except weapons and armor will be stored by the Quantum stockpiles. In this case I've begun with just the general stockpile as I am slowly emptying the temporary top floor stockpiles The most important part for this to work is to chose which stockpiles feed the minecart. The minecart itself can recieve goods from all relevant workshops in the fort, the general stockpile next to it, as well as any other stockpiles I want to feed to the minecart. Important to set the trackstop to dump to the left during construction where the recieving stockpile is. No conditions, no bins, and 2 tiles with 1 wheelbarrow made the general stockpile work. Havent placed jugs/barrels/pots yet that will go in the left next to the presses WIP agriculture, just needs 3 quantum stockpiles setup for the brewery supplies and kitchen supplies. WIP surface, just need quantum stockpiles and some more mechanisms So I rolled up a new fort and began planning It is a great template to modify but the original plans are extremely old and clearly not made for the changes in the steam version.
